Stabilised Spalted Beech Pin with Silver Dot Inlay.
This pin is created from the offcuts of the Sgian Dubh making process in my workshop. This piece has a simple pin and catch affixed to the back of the piece (see image). Sanded edges and a polished finish create a smooth texture. The piece is lightweight and versatile, pairing well with a kilt and your everyday wear.
The Spalted Beech is a native piece sourced and stabilised by Blockworks UK. The silver is recycled and sourced from Cooksongold based in Birmingham.
